Lowndes Street, London

The chic smaller sister of the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel is the more intimate, boutique destination of the pair. Also just a short, bag-laden walk from Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Sloane Street.

The atmosphere is that of a modern luxury townhouse: cosy, comfortable yet confidently stylish, easily blending the classic and the contemporary. Our brief was to refurbish the guestrooms and redesign the main public areas of the reception, cloakroom and meeting areas.

We made the guestrooms and bathrooms seem more generous by keeping things simple, stylish and welcoming. Our colour choices through the different areas of the hotel were inspired by the seasons. In the guestrooms, we worked with fresh, soft hues of mauve and green (spring), and the warmer, richer combination of teal, silver-grey and rust (autumn).

The suites feature ice-blue and dark grey (winter). Finally, summer comes to the fore in the public areas, with selections of ivory and warm yellow creating a vibrant, inviting and chic interior in which to meet, dine and socialise.
